Hi, I’m Brian Harris and PatentBytes.com is my
coding playground IP website. I started PatentBytes in 2006 because I wanted a website that I could go to that had links to IP-related news and blogs that I enjoyed reading. I have been a registered U.S. patent agent since 2001. My technical background is in electrical engineering, and I have also been a hobbyist programmer on and off for 20+ years. On a more personal level, I am also a husband, a dad, and a runner (and I completed my first marathon in Dec. 2011!). I occassionally blog on a variety of topics, including IP-related issues, technical gadgets, and programming/web development primarily as they relate to creating tools that I find helpful in my patent practice. You can contact me at the email address in the footer below.
